Balan – The Boy, jointly produced by KVN Productions and Thespian Films, known for their grand filmmaking standards, is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on June 19 in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi. The film is directed by Chidambaram, the filmmaker behind the blockbuster Manjummel Boys, with a script penned by Aavesham fame director Jithu Madhavan. Venkat K. Narayana and Shylaja Desai Fenn are producing the movie.

Leading distribution house Annapurna Studios has acquired the theatrical distribution rights for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The makers officially announced their collaboration with Annapurna Studios and expressed happiness over partnering with such a reputed banner. Through Annapurna Studios’ distribution network, Balan – The Boy is expected to reach audiences across both Telugu states on a grand scale.

The film has already been drawing attention at the pan-India level. Recently, Balan – The Boy was screened at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in France, where it received a positive response on the global stage. Director Chidambaram is said to have crafted the film with rooted storytelling and universal emotions that will connect with audiences everywhere.
